Polar Circle Air-Cruise

Polar Circle Air-Cruise

Polar Circle Air-Cruise is one of the daringest expeditions. This journey's primary objective is to get as close as possible to the Antarctic Polar Circle. It lies around 66 deg south of equator. Each voyage is tailored to the Antarctic weather, so that each day on the Polar Circle Air-Cruise offers plenty of exploration opportunities.

Day by day

Day 1 : Chile: Punta Arenas

Our staff will extend a warm greeting to you upon your arrival at Punta Arenas before 2 pm. After being transferred to your accommodation, you will visit Explorers House and attend a briefing that includes important information regarding your Antarctic air cruise, as well as essential Antarctic visitor guidelines. A welcome dinner will introduce you to the local cuisine and provide an opportunity for networking with other adventurers.

Day 2 : South Shetland Islands: King George Island

From Punta Arenas, you can fly in just two hours to King George Island on the South Shetland Islands. As you disembark the plane and breathe in the fresh Antarctic air, your Antarctic adventure begins. You will walk for 2 km (1.25 miles) passing Chile's Frei Station as well as Russia's Bellingshausen Station before you board a Zodiac to take you to the boutique expedition ship.
